What I do as your lactation specialist

I am a certified breastfeeding specialist helping families with prenatal feeding plans, basic feeding issues, positioning, pumping, and troubleshooting.

I’m currently an IBCLC candidate (International Board Certified Lactation Specialist). I do not offer clinical diagnosis or treatment or advice outside of the scope of a breastfeeding specialist, but have a lot of great local IBCLCs to refer to when needed!

60 minute home or virtual prenatal session $75

Basic positioning techniques to maximize rest and successful breastfeeding

  • Discuss feeding plans and goals including breastfeeding, formula supplementation, exclusive formula feeding, and partner involvement

  • Latch demonstration

  • Learn hand-expression techniques to maximize milk production and mitigate clogs

  • Pump and milk storage setup

90 minute home postpartum session $100

  • Latching

  • Positioning to maximize rest & healing

  • Pumping help

  • Bottle-feeding instruction

  • Pain troubleshooting
